Dear Diane,
I love having people over in the winter, it’s a great way to beat the cold and have some fun with friends. The only thing is, I always feel like I spend so much time cleaning up before and afterwards that sometimes I wonder if it’s worth it. How can I minimize the clean up to maximize my entertaining?

Dear Julia,
I totally understand your feeling. You get such a rush from entertaining but the prep work and clean up can be a downer. Here are a couple of suggestions that can help make hosting easier.
If you intend to share your leftovers with your guests, don't send them home with your good dishes and serving pieces. Plan ahead and have Ziploc® brand Plastic Containers that you can send them home with.
If you don’t have time to do a thorough dusting, the Pledge® Duster Plus® wipes are a simple and quick way to do some light dusting for your party. Use strategic lighting and candles such as the Glade® Scented Oil Candles or Glade Wisp® Flameless Candles and your guests may not notice.
In the middle of a good party, you don't want to interrupt the flow of events to tidy up. Yet, you don't want things to become too uncomfortable because your trash cans are overflowing and plates are covering your counters. With a little advanced preparation and some standby products, you can streamline your pre-party clean-up. Who knows, you just might have more time to enjoy the party!
Warm Regards,
Diane
