Dear Diane,
With Spring right around the corner, I was hoping you might have some creative cleaning tips and tricks to help my family with all those seasonal chores?
Thanks for your advice,
- Jacqueline, Oshawa, ON
Hi Jacqueline,
This is a question I hear a lot, and lucky for you, I have a quite a few helpful hints. Spring cleaning is the time to clean out those dust bunnies, organize your pantry, closets and everything else, and you can also save a few bucks on your supplies.
Find cleaning tools at your local dollar store. This is my all-time favorite place to pick up those items that you don't always think about like sponges and baskets to organize all of the cleaning supplies.
Use coupons to save on cleaning supplies. The thing I love about SC Johnson products is that there are great coupons and plenty of them on brands like Pledge®, Windex®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, Glade® and more! Shop and save on items to get windows shiny after a dreary winter and your home smelling fresh.
Sign up for Right@Home™ to have coupons for SC Johnson products mailed to you.
Review a cleaning checklist. Making a cleaning checklist and referring to it often is a good way to remember all those details that you would likely forget. You could use this cleaning list to help you keep track. Whatever works for you is what is important.
Get your kids involved with a list of regular chores. With the potential to earn a few more bucks – they won’t mind pitching in! Since they have some pretty big saving goals, they are highly motivated to try to earn more!
Good luck getting ready for Spring,
Sincerely,
Diane
